Robert Felicetta, Sr. Director of Key Account Sales, recently celebrated 10 years of working at Madison Logic in the NYC office! We asked Robert to share a glimpse of what it’s like to work at Madison Logic.

What initially drew you to Madison Logic and how did you know it was right for you?

Ten years ago, as a young, ambitious professional, I’d be lying if I said I had it all figured out. So, I took a gamble on a startup company in NYC. It’s interesting, because the driving factor that drew me to Madison Logic was the fact that we were in process of collecting so much valuable data, especially behavioral data on individuals and companies.  At the time, “behavioral intent” wasn’t even a thing in B2B paid media and ML didn’t yet productize it. However, I knew that this data was powerful and, fast forward to today, it has been a foundational piece that has catalyzed us to evolve into the successful company we have become.

What was your first role at Madison Logic, and how did that turn into the role you have today?

My first role at Madison Logic was an inside sales representative. I drank roughly 8 cups of coffee per day and hit the phones nonstop for 10+ hours each day trying to sell into about 40 states and two other continents. Today, I remain an individual contributor because of the long-standing success I’ve had in the role being Madison Logic’s top revenue producer for 9 consecutive years.

What do you most enjoy about working for Madison Logic and why?

I love knowing the hard work that I put in directly impacts my well-being and the success of my clients. What has kept me at Madison Logic for 10+ years is that we offer a great solution, which is in high demand in the marketplace, and we’re consistently enhancing it based upon what our clients need.

Madison Logic offers clients and prospects a more sophisticated solution than what others can offer in the market. When you work for a company with a great product and consistently hear positive feedback from clients, it has a direct impact on your morale and work ethic. I work tirelessly during my entire tenure here because I have confidence in our solutions and that we’re going to recognize great successes with our clients.

What characteristics does someone need to be successful with this company?

Hard work: You absolutely get what you give here.

Thirst for knowledge: On my desk I have a quote that says “Try to treat each day like it’s your first, like back when you were an intern. Stay hungry.” Never get a big ego – there is always something to learn and ways to improve, both for the betterment of yourself and your company.

Team player: Your coworkers are basically a second family being you spend so much time interacting with them. There are always going to be ups and downs, so trying to be cognizant of each other’s work ethic and feelings are important to create effective collaboration. This directly correlates to the output our clients see on the front-end.

How did you and your team get to know each other? What is your favorite part about your team and why?

Most people get to know each other through typical day-to-day interactions in the office, or via our communications apps. There are also numerous opportunities to get to know everyone better during happy hours, company events, and volunteer outings.  All of which are always very enjoyable!

I feel like we have a good culture in terms of everyone having balance between keeping it loose, but also knowing that we need to produce. That’s definitely the favorite part about our team is that everyone is a hard worker, genuinely cares, but at the same time are good-hearted people.
